I'm looking for a cf hatch for my 1990. I'm just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for where to get based on past experience. New/used I don't really care if anyone knows where a used one is.

1GA stuff is very hard to find now, but im looking for a hood too

Focus rims and performance got me a hood for my 1ga, reasonable price, fitment 7/10 but it was all I could find.

There in Hamilton. For the hatch I'm thinking I might just do a bit of trimming, not much to it anyways. The glass is probably most of the weight.

VIS still makes them for 2g, sh!t they are under 1k too!

I really like these, I had VIS on my 1g, solid quality, I wouldnt buy another brand. Im gonna start saving my loonies and twonies!

I tried dealing with those guys a while back for 2g hatches, and they were dicks to deal with...

GT Fabrications no longer deals with there carbon manufacturer anymore and therefore no longer sells any of those parts.

About 2mths ago they said to me they have a pair of doors in stock in fibreglas. I asked them for a shipping quote and i'm sitting waiting............

When I dealt with them, they had 2g hatches on their site, but told me the molds were worn out, they would not make any more until they had new molds, and he would not give me ANY kind of even BALLPARK idea WHEN they would be available or HOW MUCH they would cost.

Went out of business. I think he now works for someone else. The bankruptcy trustee will have disposed of all of his molds.

The guy in Hamilton must have been the one who did my cf 1ga hood. Too bad he's gone

How hard can it be to make a mold?

I guess making the mold is only PART of the job. I think this requires a skill not everyone has....
