I know this isn't the best place to post this but i trust and know a lot of you and figured ID ask here first.

My question is does anyone here know much about these cars and if not where is the best place to obtain some solid info? There seems to be a couple forums out there but figured id ask here first just to get going in the right direction. Things id like to know specifically are..

1.Model years to consider and avoid.
2.Reliability issues
3.Price to maintain
4.Price range to expect to pay

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks smile

I always wanted a 3000gt/gtos. Price detoured me from it. Importing one you get a ttawd for around 3-8gs depending on condition. Left hand drive ones in good enough shape to look at I found were all about 10gs. The price for modding can be very fair. And then it can get really brutal. There trannys are a weak point and can be costly.

When you get to high power the 4g63 seemed to be able to accomplish the same things. If you look at the dsm it can do the same but cost a lot less for a talon.

Having said that the quality of the interior on the 3000gt/stealth feels way better. But a talon is still one of the most comfortable seat I have sat in a car. Only the driver side though.

If I didn't have to watch how much I spend I would have a 3000gt. As it is why I couldn't get one and I didn't want rhd. Maintence from what I heard is the same just slightly more money.

2g awd, Back to dsms here I come.

You must mean the 2g seats cause the 1G seats suck. I am spoiled with my Recaro Throphy seats in my V-Dub bolsters that hug!!

What? I thought the 1G seats were more "bucket" like, while the 2G seats were more "sedan" like.

My cousin's old 93 TSI AWD black leather seats (perfect condition like new interior and seats...SERIOUSLY) VS my (not so perfect condition) 97 TSI AWD grey leather seats.

I mean I like my 2G seats, and the cockpit, but found the 1G seats to "hug" more.

I likey smile
