I am having a weird issue on what seems to be on start up. The length the car is affected seems to vary from time to time.

What happens start the car. It hops up to 1500 or so and drops back down to about 1200 like suppose to. No issues doesnt sound like anything is wrong. Bring the revs up and about 2500 dead on it seems (sometimes it has been 2000rpms) It cuts like a rev limiter drops 400 rpm and continues as if its pinging off a rev limiter. Under load or at idle it doesnt matter it happens.

Length of time it last for vary's. It can only be a minute to 15 minutes. After it seems to warm up or something it then will work fine. Boost idle after it gets by 2500 with out cutting it never comes back it seems.

I had a wire broke on the tps repaired it. tested the tps works good, ohm readings are correct to the manual. maf temp sensor is good to manual specs. The coolant sensor I only checked after it was at operating tempter and it was reading close to the 80 degree c mark which should be about right (I still will check once the motor has cooled off to make sure its not that sensor)

It almost seems like the ecu is cutting the car out. I just cant figure out why and im running low on what to check and replace on this car.

I am told maf too, Which if I can find one I will probably replace. But with the temp sensor working fine and it running amazing after the car lets it passed 2500 I dont think the reading is off.

Anyone have ideas or ever have this issue? I should have my logger back to try on the weekend. I am going to see what the logger is saying while its cutting out.

Something I have kinda noticed is when punching the pedal hard or spiritedly the car hesitates and starts to drop rpm before it picks up. Also after being on the throttle when it drops to idle it does almost dies. I am thinking the plugs are the cause of that.

Any ideas or anything would be great I should be off all weekend if anyone wants to come check it out with me. Maybe some fresh eyes will help, Im 6 months in this car and starting to get tired of working on it.

IAC stepper motor? Mine was doing that and I disconnected it, adjusted my idle and it ran fine after that.. reved high when started up but after a few secs it mellowed out.

Nope that's already been replaced.

Too clarify my idle seems fine it's just under throttle that it cuts once the car reaches 2500

Is the engine light on? Do you have link?

No, engine light no link. All stock for engine electronics.

I check the coolant temp sensor it's working fine. Registering for about what it should be.

While at the car I tried it and it worked fine....

Logger isn't working testing it if I floor it off of idle the car stalls. When under the hood opening up the throttle I can hear the air rushing through the maf but it sounds like its not doing anything for the extra air. Gonna test the maf if I can find one and try a new fuel filter.

Did you try unplugging the idle switch?

Stock pump from what I know just tried Jamie's unplug the idle switch...... Wish I tried it earlier.

As soon as I unplug it. It wants to go doesn't surge or cut. Just tries to idle at 2g right now do new idle switch and reset timing.

Pulls way better from a get go!!

And I also told ya, the idle switch is ether gonna run fine or barely run at all. If you can drive..its fine. check your rubber on your biss screw, and then retime everything.

It doesn't operate right with it plugged in. With it unplugged it works great... Just idles high.
