If your in a crunch for time, you're allowed to extend a temp permit another 10 days. So total 20 days to get yourself sorted.

Hope that helps.

got access to a smoke machine?

is the o-ring around the biss screw still there? are the vacuum lines on the throttle body connected?

Spray starter fluid in places where it may leak (BISS, TB Shaft Seals, etc.)....if revs fluctuate (increase) when you do then you've got a leak there.

If you've buried the BISS (little screw on the throttle body) then your ISC is pretty much toast. That or you have a serious boost/vac leak in/around the intake manifold/TB

disassemble your tb and spray the metal gaskets with copper spray, then reassemble.
