The girlfriend and her sister where stuck in the traffic jam westbound between Port Hope and Newtonville where they finally got off; from 5:30 to 12:00 shocked

Ryan I thought your were exaggerating when you said 80, I guess not.

To thoughs of you who were there, did the conditions change real quickly, or was it just tailgating/driver error? I'm assuming the second since only five went to hospital according to CBC. Only two of them serious.

Even when it opened again it was still slow as hell.
I got stuck at 401@37........ I was going to oshawa, it was brutal
BUT: around midnight around 20 cars all turned 102.1 the edge on full blast and we had a traffic jam party
