Hey guys,

So I got myself and EVO X last October but I'm seriously considering selling it and getting a 1g tsi awd. Am I crazy?

I know they are impossible to find in good shape. Or should I just keep the X as a daily driver and get a 1g to wrench on? I think that is what I miss most about it, my time in the garage with it. FUU.. I don't know what to do.

Here is the Evo btw, the day I got it.

The motor hasn't been replaced and the price is good, also I don't see any rust on it. I would say it is still worth it.

I'll trade you a 2012 Lancer Ralliart and a 92 Tsi Awd for your EVO.

However my 92 doesn't run so it would be a bad deal for you, but there's lots of wrenching available on it. Seriously though consider Peter's car. Keep the EVO.

Peter's car, am I missing something? lol

Bryan, it does have rust. Check the fender. It has the normal 1G cancer.

LOL I don't know how I missed that. Well other than that it doesn't look that bad, that's easy to patch too!

It's funny cause I think of when I first got my car, and there was bubbling which I was convinced back then was not an issue, as soon as I punched through it I sh!t myself. Then I learn it was pest to clean it and then I painted it, and then covered the hole with tin tape. Now I am finally going to do it right and weld it.

Oh and big news I bought an auto darkening welding helmet!! YAY!

I can contest that the helmet is super sweet for the kind of scratch he spent! so many options! ...actually just 4 but still a far more advanced helmet then my standard POS sleep

Yeah, well when I borrowed terry's helmet I had my second hand, but every time I swung my head to bring the hood down I would move. So this will make a big difference!!
