I'm looking for an engine for my father-in-law's motorcycle. He has a BMW K1200S, 2006. Interested in either a working motor or a whole bike (cracked frame or whatever, as long as the motor works).

I know chances are slim, but if anyone has any leads or ideas, let me know.

I assume he has tried the couple of motorcycle scrapyards? I think there is Zdeno's in Kitchener and one on the lakeshore in Etobicoke...if they are still there...

Z's is still here, but I don't think they have a scrapyard? If they do, it's news to me.

Zdeno's doesn't have BMW engines, there is a shop in peterborough but all of their BMW's are from the 80's.. Haven't been able to contact Ontario cycle salvage yet, they don't answer their phones lol.

Keep an eye on Ebay also. I brought in some parts for an FJ1300 from the US for a buddy....
