If you're going for even half that much power then you better send those mounts back and get the racer series (billet) Avid mounts. The street/tuner mounts are not rated for much power and I already know of one member on here who has shredded a front motor mount of the tuner series with only an FP Green.

I have the billet ones - you will not be disappointed.

Front and rear, in only a couple thousand km, without giving them anywhere near as much abuse as I plan to in the future.

Also, if you ever have a warranty issue with Avid, I wish you luck. I have never had more trouble getting a company to cough up a replacement for a "lifetime warranty" part, especially considering they were basically bad out of the box, and I deal with warranty parts on a near-daily basis.

Maybe I'm missing something, to me looks like a typical built DSM, with big aspirations?

If you are actually planning to make that kind of power, probably not the parts guys that do make that kind of power run. 600-700, I can see it, over that, think your pushing your luck.

Your are probably right Daren the turbo is rated for 84 something LBS a min and the Manly rods might have to be up graded if these bad boys can't handle that much air.

The individual behind this build wants to try 115 LB min FP-turbo if their not happy with the 80 Lb min turbo.

Thanks for the input Salomon I welcome any good advice smile
Perhaps we might have to up grade the engine mounts if they have no chance of standing the test of time against a machine above 600 hp spy

I don't expect warranty on performance parts. But when a company puts a lifetime warranty on a part they sell, I expect them to stand behind the product when it gets ripped to shreds basically out of the box.

I'd be happy to send you pictures of what my front roll stop looked like after 3800km smile Given the symptoms that disappeared when I put an old OEM one I had kicking around on, I would say it disintegrated before the 2000km mark.

Better get that Eagle crank double checked before you run it. I wouldn't even run it without getting both the rod and mains machined.

Hey Kent, mind walking us through it a little more, like what you are looking for and stuff.
I will be doing this soon and have no experience so would be good to learn from someone going through the process.
