Bryan I have not forgot about you.
Are you looking for step buy step on an engine tear down. Or what to look for during the process to determine engine wear or none serviceable damaged engine parts.

Out of curiosity, is there any reason you went with a recirc'd wastegate instead of dumping to atmosphere?

Definitely a gorgeous setup. Love those FP turbos.

Killer street turbo! Spools quick with lots of topend. If that is not enough, you can just swap out to a T3 or T4 housing to get you over 150 MPH traps wink

It's been done for years. Punishment Racing has been offering it for as long as I've had a DSM and much longer, I'm sure and Ziggy even had a few like that one point, although that FP setup is definitely the slickest/nicest setup for that style I've seen. VBands! laugh

Blocks are such a pain in the a$$ to do with all the masking and cleaning involved but in the end its worth it for the look and in the future in the easy of cleaning and identifying leaks.

With out without further ado, ladies and gentlemen hobos and tramps.

I finally had the time to get back to work on this entry level grocery getter.
Me being away on a course out east and the holidays I had absolutely no time to play in my man cave. annoy

Happy birthday Kent! I, too, am excited to see this thing once it's together.

First one is a line lock/launch control for cars with a manual tranny. Helps to regulate clutch slippage during a launch to aid with consistency between runs.

The second one is a billet transfercase cover, meant to strengthen the weak point of the transfercase to prevent failure.

You can find more info here.

Oh ok, I assume that is like a trans lock for an auto where its in drive and revers at the same time until you let off the switch?

After research, so it's a button that locks the front brakes and then you release and brakes are off?

That's just a standard line lock.

Go to the link I provided and check it out on Magnus' website. Marco has a video there explaining what it does.

Edit: I don't believe this one actually engages your brakes, so calling it a line lock is somewhat colloquial.

No, It does NOT lock your brakes at all. It' in the clutch line. We the system is engaged it Restricts flow to the slave(this is were you set up how fast or slow it goes) By restricting the flow(when dialed in corrected)You can just take your foot off the clutch in a normal mannor and the launch control does the rest for you. No more hammering drivetrain, and cutting rubber loose.
