Escarpment Run on October 6th (Sunday) Weather Permitting.

The view is amazing regardless of what time of the year we go BUT it will be unreal with the backdrop of fall.

I'm having a tough time with making a Google map cuz my computer is way to underpowered lol.

The cruse will start in Georgetown, make its way to Burlington and cut back through the forks of the credit, I'm not sure if people want to 'Tie' in a spot where we can have a seasons end meet or not, its up to you guys.

The Georgetown Meeting spot will be at the intersection of Mountianview road south and Argyll in the Metro parking lot at 12 sharp...

We can also incorporate somewhere to eat if people so choose.

You don't have to meet at the designated meeting spot if you don't want to, you can make up your mind after I post the route the convoy will be taking.

I am going to say I am tentative, depending on how long you think we will be out I may be ok.

If you need help you can come by and do the may on my desktop, I have some spare computer parts if you every decide to build a low end desktop (it was good to me up until a few months ago).

From beginning to end you should be back by 3pm. you can always break off from the convoy when we head to the FOTC.

I will prob take you up on that offer...not for the desktop but for helping with the map.

Here is the Google map of our route, if it doesn't work for some reason let me know.

The route consists of VERY LITTLE inner city driving and very few stop lights, this will help keep our convoy together.

Escarpment/FOTC Cruse

If you can't make the cruse try this map out on your own..you will not be disappointed, this route makes for a fantastic Sunday drive, just make sure there isn't a fund raising bike run planned for the day you decide to go.

What's the total distance / length of time the cruise will be? I have somewhere to be around 4:30ish that day so I probably will skip out if you guys stop to eat.

Hope this helps a bit and I believe Terry said 3pm would be a rough time for the end

Click the link click on image to make it bigger and should be able to give a rough idea of the route

Yep, Manny is right, depending on traffic (its not normally heavy) and weather you do the Escarpment or FOTC or both it should take no longer than 3hrs, If we can all meet at 12pm and leave by 12:15pm we should be on target. The route ends on the northern outskirts of Brampton so it should be easy and quick for you Brampton/Mississauga guys to get home.

If people find its taking too long (god forbid..right? grin ) most of the main roads we are taking make for quick trips back to the highway.

If there is a consensus all who want to can join for some eats either at the end or between the Escarpment and the FOTC.

..I'm new at the create your own Google map stuff but I'm almost positive I made the information on the map available to anyone who uses the link I posted 'EXCEPT' for the general public, if you still can't access the map without a gmail account let me know and I'll try different settings.

I have no problem with that at all, as long as the rest of the boys are also interested... its a democracy after all.

BTW, just encase you were wondering, I travel these roads quite a bit so I can ensure that as of 2 weeks ago all roads are paved and not currently under construction.

And for anyone going to the FOTC any time soon (outside of the cruse)..Mississauga road is still under heavy construction just outside of Bellfountian.

I thought I labeled the red location pins...Gtown 'start' and highway 10 is 'end'

ok cool, i only got a chance to look at manny's picture

Looking at it now, it's weird it came out that way, when I had done a map like that it had followed the road.

Well I attempted to redo the map but it seems the old way to do it is now buggy as sh!t so I gave up. It seems the new setup doesn't follow the road like the old one used to.

Nope, I guess enough people bitched so they decided to bring back layers, as you saw it's a big mess so hopefully it can be fixed soon.
