Summary: Awesome 6-bolt long block with 1G rods and 2G pistons.
Price: $500 firm.

I have for sale a 6-bolt 4G63 long block. It is a complete engine with a 6-bolt block and includes everything from the oil-pan up to the valve cover. This includes all the timing components.

This was pulled from Mike Leclerc's car which he was daily driving. He worked with a local machine shop to do a "stock rebuild" to freshen it up, and installed the higher compression 2G pistons on the beefy 1G rods. - the perfect OEM combo! It also has a 1G head.

After the rebuild Mike put about 25k on it with no problems and it had 180 compression across the board when he pulled it and sold it to me. I bought it after my engine died a few years ago, but I never completed my rebuild. It has been sitting since, but it is oiled and was regularly turned over by hand.

I just turned it over to check it out and everything is smooth. I took the valve cover off to inspect and everything looks good in the valvetrain. No wear on the cams, and the head studs look like ARPs to me (hard to tell though)

The block is painted red (+10 HP!!). The valve cover is painted black but could use another coat and a little cleaning up.

I've had a few bites at $600. The absolute lowest I will go is $500. I can probably deliver in the GTA (within reason). If you need them I can throw in my 2G exhaust manifold and a 1G intake manifold.
