Nice find! I sent him a message to find out if the recalls have been done.

When your looking for a car with 140 Miles > 225k, 'recalls' are the least of your worries; Any open recalls uncompleted will likely be covered anyways. How about a maintenance schedule to start? Accident damages history, possible structural damage? Financial Liens held against?

Recalls is the only thing that stops you from bringing it into the country.

A question which ideally should be addressed prior to finalizing a deal. At which point, you could have him arrange to drop it off at dealership before importing.

I've had exceptional dealings with Ricky "dacowgod". As for the recalls Bryan hit the nail on the head. When I am importing any vehicle I contact RIV and generate a ticket #. Then with the vin # at hand I contact dealer (BMW, Mitsu, Honda, Toyota etc.) in USA and get on THEIR LETTERHEAD the " NO OPEN CAMPAIGN " letter and then forward over to RIV.(They will no accept something on plain paper thus the emphasis of letterhead!)
This valuable information is now updated to your already created ticket # and when you have vehicle here in Canada with your FORM 1 after you clear customs etc, car makes the RIV procedure so much easier.
Anyhow if you require help with this whole procedure you can pm me and Ill happily assist. I do this for a living and know seller quite well.
