I recall hearing that in PEI you are never more than 10 minutes from the ocean.. Hopefully it melts gradually or it will be a lot less than 10 min from the shore!

I'm sure the cottage I rented in Point Prim would be next to impossible to reach currently. I've heard in the winter in PEI, it can take days for the roads to be opened in some location.

We're sitting with about 80cm on the ground here now, more than enough.

I lived on point prim road (almost at the end) for a few years. Snow drifts suck there wasn't uncommon for them to be taller then a school bus.

Here is a photo of a different area, I stole this from facebook,

I can't believe how much of a temperature difference there is between the east and the west of canada, it's crazy.

We haven't gotten as much snow as the east coast but still a fair amount and far too much cold. It was -20 again here last night.

Bryan, not just Canada, the whole east coast is saturated while the west coast is scorched. The California drought is crazy.

it was raining last weekend washing the salt off the roads so I pulled the 2G out of storage and it is now in the garage ready to get some love.
