Hey guys,

The CV boot has torn on the driver's side axle on my '91 Tsi Fwd. So, I figure now is the best time to do the equal length half shaft mod.

Does anyone have a good condition intermediate shaft and axle from a 1g Awd that I can purchase?

Thanks,
Justin

If I may ask, what is your plan for the seal in the transmission? There was a spacer kit by Mopar that would allow the AWD seal to fit the FWD transmission, but it was discontinued ages ago. I tried unsuccessfully to turn a FWD seal into a spacer.

I was planning on running the Fwd axle seal rather than the Awd. From what I have gathered on the forums most people have used the Fwd seal without leakage.

I have the intermediate shaft, but no axle. If this was posted yesterday I could've saved the axle before scrapping the shell lol

Might that be something Ziggy could carve up for you?

I'm going to grab an intermediate shaft off of Reza. Still looking for an axle if anyone has one. I might end up buying new depending what kind of deal I can get.
