So it's time. 9 years has passed since the last update to 1000AAQ by Sean Costall. There is an amazing amount of knowledge, but much of it is outdated.

References to broken links (many dsm.org links), old shops, and especially the Talon Digest. Mailing lists, UBB? What are those? tongue And I am positive that animated gifs are out too.

I will slowly go through all the content and give it a fresh new look and functionality. You can see the alpha version here.

http://webex.chucklavoie.com/

If anyone wants to help, let me know. No design experience required. I have designed it with a WYSIWYG editor and simple interface for adding and editing content.

If you have suggestions on features you would like to see. Let me know as well.

Stay "Tuned"!

Alright.. it`s been almost a year since I touched it. I decided I wanted a little change of project so I started redesigning again. Focusing on usability and responsive design.

It`s actually less usable than the previous version at the moment, but I am trying to layout all the site before re-adding functionality.

Also.. finally got the domain. http://dsmfaq.com/
It`s pretty new. Your DNS may still not be updated if link broken. Wait and try again later.

It`s looking really good on the Iphone 6S Plus

Which one? It rotates through 4 of them. Doesn't matter really. They are just cars I grabbed from Google for now. tongue

I need some clean well shot cars, so people post the best photo of their rides. (not all are accepted, it's kinda a look thing).

JD, I stole your ride for now.

By the way. Call me Chuck. Everyone. Charles is way too formal.

As for coding.. no specific work yet.
All work requires Bootstrap, jQuery, PHP and MySQL along with some other JavaScript libraries.

I've got more if this is what you're looking for but they aren't exactly "well shot". They were done with the best potato I could find

Actually. I could use help making sub categories
Lowercase. Proper Spelling. Letters only. nospaces (use dashes)
Don't need down to bolts. Keep it high level.

Ex:

Category:
Drivetrain

Sub Categories:
clutch,transmission,transfer-case,rear-differential,drive-axle,drive-shaft

hanger bearings aren't listed as they are part of drive shaft.

Here are all the categories.

Engine
Chassis and Body
Electrical
Wheels and Tires
Suspension and Brakes
History
Factory Information
Terminology
Make Model Info
Maintenance
Recalls
Vehicle Operation
Drivetrain
Upgrades
Fuel and Lubricants
Interior

They are one and same. Just depends which manual you are reading.

Option 2 just because it's being used as a fact to easier to look for the question you want answered.

Agreed.

Bryan. Can you email me your email: webmaster(AT)dsmfaq(DOT)com?

Thanks. I am going to give you FTP access to the server so you can poke around. If I get hit by a bus, you need to be able to take over tongue

Added a new feature: You can upload your ECMLINK logs.

Eventually it will tie to a profile, but for now, you can up your logs to share with forums.
