I am trying to remove the air intake funnel that feeds air into the intercooler in order to clean the face of the intercooler. My problem is that the mounting
clips that fasten the air intake to the body just spin without coming out.
They look like plastic bolts mounted in large plastic washers and are everywhere on the car. How do you guys deal with these clips? Thanks for your help.

A pair of side cutters and prying usually works for me. You can do it without breaking them if you're careful.
