Well guys, I never thought the day would come that I'd be looking to part with my beloved EVO 8, but it looks as if that time might be upon me.
I'm not desperate to sell the car, and I have no interest, or time, to part it out and sell it stock.
Details:
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8
-74,XXX miles Original motor and transmission
-Imported legally from the US. Car has been registered in Canada for nearly 4 years (I'm the only Canadian owner)
-All records and receipts since purchasing it from previous owner
Engine:
-Stock engine and turbo with some minor bolt ons. I never got to the build stage because of my new job and the extensive time away from home.
Minor bolt ons include;
-HKS intake
-Forge BOV
-4" ETS intercooler with 3" pipes
-Slim battery kit
-STM oil catch can w/ -6 braided lines
-Mishimoto Radiator, slim fan and shroud
Other than that, she's bone stock with regular maintenance
Suspension/Brakes:
-Fortune Auto 500 coilovers (less than 1000kms on them)
-Energy suspension bushing all around
-Whiteline roll center/bump steer kit
-Front subframe was removed and powdercoated when I replaced all the front bushings. Powdercoating done by Mike@Brightside
-Brembos were serviced and powdercoated gold by Mike@Brightside as well.
-SS braided brake lines and clutch line
Rims/Tires:
-17X9.5" Wedsports TC105N's w/ 255/40ZR17 Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Specs (roughly 1000kms on the tires)
-Tires have been kept indoors during the winter months
Electronics:
-AEM UEGO wideband AFR
-AEM Truboost boost gauge
-Apexi Turbo timer
-Kenwood 7" indash
-Viper 2-way alarm with additional shock sensors
I'm probably forgetting a bunch of different things, so I'll update as necessary. I'm writing this from Halifax and the car is in Ontario so I'm going by memory.
The car is currently garage stored and has never seen winter since I've owned it.
Hands down one of the most fun cars I've owned and I'm sad to see it go.
I'll update this post with a few pictures in the next few days. Most have seen the car though.
