The useable data is not directly from the sensor but after the signal been processed by the ECU. Each knock sensor for different cars works differently so how can you differentiate between knock from one car to knock from another car? 11.254@132.14MPH - Tractionally impaired

I would have to say this could be better than the traditional DSM knock light mod, however it depends on how accurate it is. Since you sold the DSMlink, why dont you pop a peckerhead chip in your ECU, you can have the stock boost gauge read knock from 0-28 counts I believe, along with lots of other things in the code!
