Yes, I'm afraid its true. I bought a Honda. To shame us DSMers even more, its a race car!
Seriously though, its a '90 Civic built to SCCA Improved Touring C specs. Built last year, it has won a bunch of races and was being running for the championship at Waterford Hills (where I'm racing this year).
Anyway, I'm not planning on selling the Laser, so I hope you'll still be my friend. :-)

congrats on your purchase, It's always cheaper to buy an already built car no matter what it is. So your finally ready to rub fenders huh? Imagine if there were no DSM's most of you would be driving honda's. although I would never ahem...

Even *with* DSM's, sometimes I'd just as rather have an Integra TypeR, or even a GSR, or DEFINITELY an NSX... (:

I'm sure this won't bode well with some of you, but IMHO I personally wouldn't have a problem with owning a 500hp built Integra like most of the guys in the mags have. Sure it will have problems with traction on the street (just like the FWD DSMs) but I see jack all AWDs pulling solid numbers at the drag strip (at east here in Canada). Says something. BTW, I own a DSM AWD and am not planning to get rid of it just yet - Just in case people think I'm defecting ------------------ Cya O! SPOOLIN!http://www3.sympatico.ca/gstagno/index.htm

Actually Marco, I've been rubbing (or more accurately, smashing) fenders all year. One of my friends that I met on the MI-DSM list, Alec Miller, let me run his car this year. Its an ITD Ford Festiva. I have been doing pretty well, but have been involved in a few "incidents." Before driving to Toronto, I was painting the replacement fender for the one that got trashed by a Chevette!

Congrats Ed! I see you finally did it! I hope you'll have a very successful race season next year on your new car. Racin' is what's it's all about and we ALL know that you are a DSM at heart anyhow. Besides, I kinda like honduhs too! :0 ------------------ Slowpoke, The Black Plagued 91 AWD

Well at least it is a race car and it can go fast....... hopefully. Their are a lot of guys out here that claim that their civics are fast but they never seem to race anyone. By the way is your car still steet legal?????
