Although one Japanese model of the Evo will get a six-speed manual gearbox this time around, the U.S. -bound cars will have five-speed manuals and a five-speed automatic with manumatic shifting buttons on the steering wheel. Other trick stuff that won't appear on U.S. cars are the Evo's traction-control systems, AYC (Active Yaw Control) and ACD (Active Center Differential), which comes with three settings for snow, gravel, and tarmac.
