I bought a new 95+ manifold (since my old one was cracked and leaking) and was wondering what kind of gasket I should use (the gasket that is between the manifold and the head). I've heard both sides of all materials (copper, ss, stock cork). Does anyone have any good experience with any material? Any good brands? Or just go with factory? btw, should I apply any type of liquid sealant, like high-temp RTV, or is this just a waste of time? Thanks.

Stick with stock. (multilayered stainless)
Install it naked (you can interpret that any way you want)
I don't know who recommended cork to you but stop listening to them.

If your manifold is used, get it "decked" (flattened) at a machine shop. If it's new,
install it, drive it for a while, remove it and get it decked at a machine shop.
ALL the 95+manifolds that I've seen have warped.

Hey guys, am I right in remembering that the 2G manifolds fit the 1G (Turbo)? I've got a wee leak myself, vibration is rediculous at 6000 RPM. Help appreciated.
