I sold my talon last night to a member on the board. I'm kinda sad its gone, but happy that now I can focus on paying off debt and eventually buy a house and then get a new car to build up.
The old girl never broke down on me and she taught me all I know about cars, when I first got it all I could do was oil changes, then 3yrs later it taught me how to rebuild an engine. Even though I will never own a DSM again, I will still be a DSMer.
So its time to move on, but I may swing by the board on the occassion.
Later guys and gals, you've all been awesome people tu

No worries, the moderators just get bored and move things once in a while. Oh wait, that was me! laugh

Anyway, sorry to see you go, but at least your car went to someone on the board!

And you never know, maybe you'll be back here on the board in a little while to learn how to build a 4G63-turbo-garage-door-opener for that new house!

Its allways sad to let them go, the Talon was my first car so I get what your feeling. Its sad but not neccessarily tragic. There getting up there in age, there comes a point when you just need to let go.

Well now that your DSM'less that makes you another candiate to move over to the Hyundai camp. I do love a car that has over 200,000KM and runs like its brand new. smile

I dunno about Hyundai Dan, actually I'm going look at a 95 Nissan 200sx SE-R sometime hopefully next week if the guy can find the time to show me the car. I think it would make a fun autocross car not to mention be cheap on gas and reliable. I've always been a fan of Nissans and my GF loves them too...she has one, oh and my bro has an S14 with a new S14 SR engine swap and its awesome...might as well join the family:)

Thanks for the kind words guys tu

I just don't visit the board as often as I used to, that's my excuse.

As one of the few DSM people I've actually met in person, I can say Ryan is a good guy. You'll be missed. Good luck with future projects! tu

I knew what you meant about the Hyundai thing Dan...I couldn't think of anything else to say :)haha...I'm lame, I know.
Here are some pics of the car I am buying tomorrow http://homepage.mac.com/joshyo/PhotoAlbum2.html
Its got some minor rust which is common on that model car, but nothing I can't fix, plus both sides on the car have been keyed, but I can fix that too. Getting the car for $4500 cert & e-test with brand new rotors and pads.
