Hello all.

Got back home about an hour ago.

Had lots of fun and meet a few cool Cats. We all had the chance to meet Todd Hynes, his lovely wife and his father. Todd brought some good Beer and I was lucky to be able to guzzle (sp???) a few. That was a long haul for them and we all apreciated their presence.

Meet the two Paul (B and P), Rob and Cara and the regular crew.

The gig was pretty good and we saw lots of fast machines. Evo were plenyfull.

I did a few passes and did a 13.290 which is my best so far. I also pulled a few low 14 and one of them had a 106.70 trap speed. laugh

I was also there. I saw your car Ghislain but I didn't see you, or even know what you look like. Stayed at the Gull with you but everyone went to bed so early. I drove the FWD red 1Gb.

My bracket input time was 14.55. I ended up losing because I scored a 14.04@111mph. A damn Dodge Shadow beat me because I beat my bracket time. He was a full 3 seconds slower then me as well.

Great times, just wished I coulda got a few more runs in.

Was fun when Marco's rear diff blew and a piece landed at my feet.

I'll be back next year.

That sounds like a good time down there.

I am hoping to make it next year as well, was thinking about it this year but tuition got in the way.

Plus I need to fix up a few things on my ride first.

Got any pics of all those sweet rides?

It was nice to finally meet some of the people off of here, and put faces to names. Definately a good time.

I can't wait for next year, when I'll actually be bringing my car smile .

It definately was a good time. Saw some old familiar faces again, good to see they are still around laugh

I took some pics of the event, even got some of the Canadians in there!

Ah yes, look. It is me getting eaten by a 12.3 second EVO 8. FWD launches are tricky; especially when this is your first one in over a year and on a completely new set-up. Needless to say... BOG.

Yeah Peter I did not know that you are now working for "Tha Mag".

I'm presently looking ta the pics and seen that you posted a few pics of my ride (73/229 and 74/229 plus one more while I was staging in my favorite lane). Pretty cool Dude.

I'll keep on having a look and will be sending for a subscription. You not only take Pics but you sell mags... wink

BTW: The offer still stad. You can bring a few models and lay them on the Hood of my car for a few Pics. As long as I get to watch...

Ghislain.

It was nice meeting you guys, we had a great time at the Shootout. With stats like these --- 8 transit days, 13 hours on the ferry, 6432 kms of driving, and 1256 litres of fuel --- I don't think I'll be making this an annual trip. Maybe in a few years I'll try it again.

Congrats to Ghis and Scott for achieving personal bests.
