The last two years I ditched my car in the first accumulating snow of the year. Last year it was my dad's birthday (nov 17) This is too early.
I HATE SNOW!!!!!
Bring on the global warming! (only diadvantage to cool winters is that there is a lot more slush and freezing rain)
Parking the car this winter.

Saw that Kevin.
That crash involved a Gas truck exploding and causing an enferno that could be seen for miles.
Please be careful.

My dad travels that route everyday for the last 14 years, also my friend Rob who is a truck driver was basically there when it happened.. Such a tragedy, my condolences go out to everyone who lost a loved one today.
But there is no such thing as accidents, something set off the chain reaction, give yourself space out there, don't let the tailgaters push you, let them by. Don't forget how powerful mother nature is, if your late for work, its better than your life. Be smart and take your time.
My girlfriend Lydia is a nurse at Northumberland Hills hospital she is working right now, likely taking care of the injured involved.
Again please be careful out there!

I was on the 401 at Noon between Gananoque and K-town while it was snowing. Shoulder lane was slick and passing lane was mostly snow covered. I have an Escape awd and grew up on back roads and ice covered lakes, but I was surprised at the people that passed me not realising the road was slippery. Well it didn't take me long to come upon at least 5 vehicles in ditch after bouncing off guardrails. Some people don't have a clue when it comes to winter driving!

It snowed here yesterday.
Accumulations of ~1/16 of an inch!!! AAaAh!
To you 'n me, this is nothing, but to a zillion hummer driving, starbucks drinking, cellphone yakking urbanites, -it's a catastrophe.
Plus it's freaking cold here. My now "spoiled" Talon has actually been refusing to start on the first try at times!!! :eek -a little quirk she had previously only reserved for -20c and beyond.
I want an RS4.
