I wanted to know if anyone has cut a hole in the O2 housing where the wastegate dumps into it and just let the wastegate dump into the atmosphere? If you did that wouldn't it help kill any boost creep? Could it damage anything? Thanks

I know somebody who did, no boost creep. Jeff Carpenter sold this mod. The problem I had with it is it's LOUD. Also another problem is that if you chop it off the exhaust vapors go right on the oil filter. I didn't like this at all, I believe that it may have some adverse effects on oil temperature. The only way I would recommend doing it is weld a pipe to it, after this it was a lot quieter and the vapors escaped away from the oil filter.

Also, depending on the condition of your internatl wastegate, you might have a constant exhaust leak which gets annoying.
