I was getting an intermittent coolant leak from top of the rad. I tried to tighten the clamp, but it's already all the way tight.
I figured the upper rad hose is hosed laugh
Got a new one from Adam Clay, and decided to replace it this morning.
I took the old one of, and what do you know....I don't think the rad outlet is supposed to have a big piece of it missing. mad
A big piece broke off, and there is not much surface to clamp it to. I put the new hose on and moved the clamp as far as I could, I hope this works for a while. I don't wanna be buying a new rad bitch

GOT SURGE?

You could possibly get someone to weld in a new inlet if your rad is in good condition and worth saving.

We had lots of problems with customer cars coming in the plastic end tanks/inlets that just break/crack when you try to remove the rad hose. Newer cars almost all use these plastic rads and its going to be a pain working on them in the future.

This is very common - happened to me too. Luckily the aftermarket rads (SPI) are inexpensive. I ended up buying a new one instead of trying to replace the end tank (next to impossible to get one).
