I don't know what the hell my problem is, I wish you could use nails on cars
Last time it was the valve cover holes, this time it's on the turbo housing.
It's a long story as to why I had to take it off, but none the less I did, and I ended up breaking two of the bolts that hold it onto the manifold. The one I got fixed alright, and ran a tap through it and its fine, but the other I guess the drill went in a bit crocked, and when I ran the tap straight down, the bottom half of about half of the one side of the hole has no threading. What's the best way to fix this? I was thinking of changing the location of that stud and nut to where my problem is and just getting one that's a bit larger and retapping the hole. Is there a reason for the stud being in that specific location? Or can it be moved? Any other ideas? Anyone else ever do this? Or am I the only dumbass here?
I half-assed this the first time, and that's why I have this problem now, so I want to fix it properly. Without having to buy a new turbo of course
