Nigel Smith OP Insane Member Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 2,857 Oakville, ON	Alright upon seeing my old crushed 1g bov (I didnt crush it) leaks around 10pounds of pressure, I decided to take my spare stock BOV, and crush it properly... with a vacuum gauge. Stock, the gauge measure the diaphram opening at 16inhg, I crushed it so it starts opening at 18, and is pretty much fully open at 20-22 inhg.. Problem is theres a flutter now, like when you let off the throttle (non-WOT) you get two flutters from the bov, it sounds like its releasing air twice... so, my concern is compressor surge, how likely is it I may be surging, and also what exactly does a surge sound like.
