Call a dealer and see if they will perform the recall, have your vin handy. If it has been done already most likely it wont be done again. There are many threads regarding this subject.

Yup, step 1 is call the dealer and give them your VIN and hope that your recall hasn't been done yet.

but form what i heard on other forum that for Eagle and laser is a lifetime recall. some people even got it replace more than once. so thats why im here in the Canadian site asking if anyone has done it in Canada recently. did they get the bs run around...etc.when and where did you get it? do the same/similar laws apply for safty recall here as in US?a guy in the states told the manager that it was a million dollar fine(US LAW), for the person in charge of refusal to proform a safty recall and he got it done.

There seems to be different opinions on the matter. I've heard people say once it's done it's done forever and others say since it's a safety recall they should fix it everytime it breaks. You'll be hard pressed to find a dealer who is willing to just fix any sort of recall/warranty work (so I've found) without you putting up some sort of fight. If you're in Scarborough, give Eastway Chrysler a call...
The first thing you should do is call and see if it's been done yet because we can speculate all we want about whether the recall lasts the life of the call but if yours hasn't been done yet then we're all just wasting our time...
Good luck

nope, I had mine done a month ago. I went in and gave the recall number and told them that my transfer case is leaking and that there was a recall. I told them that they were going to fix it for me and that it wasn't going to cost me a penny. So then I made an appointment for them to look at it. It needed a rear seal, a yoke and a u-joint. It took a couple days to get the parts in and then they fixed it no problem and not a penny spent by me. I don't think it is as big of a deal as everyone says it is. The dealership doesn't really care, because they just send the bill to Chrysler Canada. I am pretty sure they will fix it/ replace it as many times as nessisary. Just go in there and be polite but firm and I had no problem.

well i call chrysler canada, and was told that if the recall has been done you only get one year warrenty. after that you are on your own.just so if anyone else like to know in the furture. So don't fall for the dealer bullsh*t about bring in your car for an inspection that will cost you $50(in my case)and we'll call chrysler to find out if they will replace it for you but no promise.SATAN

Man that sucks. But if you just have to fix the leak, it probably won't too expensive right? It is mostly labour time to fix it.
