...with his bone stock Accord V6. lol. We are headed back after some holiday shopping, and as we're cruising up Peach St. (4 lanes shopping district) when this kid in a civic, with a huge tip muffler and wing, comes up next to us and starts reving the **** out of it. He takes off like a bat out of hell, and has to stop at the next light. So we roll up to him and he's doing it again, so my DAD looks at him and just smiles. Light turns green and this kid takes off, so my dad just keeps right next to him, we hear him downshift and the revs go up, so my dad just mashed it to the floor and we totaly walked this guy. I thought it was funny, 1 because my dad was driving, and 2 the accord is stock.

Not a DSM kill but I thought I would share. Now its time to get him to mod that thing. naughty

What do you expect? a v6 putting out probably around the 220 range and a little d series that puts out next to nothing. Kid is lucky if he has 95 asphalt tearing horsepower.

Oh ya I know the accord is faster, I just thought it was funny because this kid thought he was the **** and my old man put him in his place.

Yes I do not think this is the forum to brag about civic's smoking people. Most cars on this board do not even waste their time with civic's even with those swapped B16's and stuff like that...

Tell your dad to stop racing with the family car and go get groceries.

Great Kill man, the point was, the guy was showing off, and your dad beat the crap out of him. That would of been funny to watch, and fast civics? What fast civics, I dont see any.

Not that Im pro Honda but all you bashers should watch your mouths! Just cause you think your fast in your POS DSM, doesnt mean there arent fast hondas. I know a hand full of civic owners that will womp almost any of your asses. Some doin low 11's. Can any of you say that? Point being dont be so biast towards Honda, smart guys can make them do amazing things.

Isaque,
That wasnt THAT fast shuffle
But i fully agree, there are plenty of fast civics out there.
One guy from around here who is running 12.8 on street tires and 11's at the track.

There is just an abundance of riced out slow civics so its hard to ever find the quick ones

Yes Rob you are right, but in this situation, the kid was trying to show off. Tim B, Sean D, Peter T and I all know what it's like to be underestimated. Given that, i don't underestimate any car on the road, my car is starting to rust and is just plain ugly but it's fast as hell, i'm sure theres a few civics out there that are the same. It's not only civics, i've seen a Toyota station wagon pushing 17psi.
But you have to admit, most civic guys do it cause the girl supposedly like them....and under the hood there really nothing there...

Im sure theres fast Suzuki swifts with the 1.3L 4 cylinder out there. Only problem is to make a Honda fast (Civics generally), you can buy a few DSM's.

When I grow up. I want to be just like you.

Put down the glue man. Seriously, I'll run your "turbo teg". Oh wait, I don't drive my sports cars in the winter. I drive beaters.

Ya civics can be fast but so can K cars and chevettes . and Im sure theres a few fast shcool buses. In fact any Basic transportation can be fast.

In general I hate civics only because of all the punk ass ricers who ruin the image of the car. I used to think they were awsome but now I want to see them stock.

Oh ya If one blows me away Id probably be so Happy that someone actually had the balls to make one fast and not just make it look tacky.

Im glad Kyles dad put that kid in his place.
Its nice to see an older person having some fun instead of just bitching about us young street racers.

First of all man, how am I ignorant? I said the price to make a CIVIC fast costs a lot of money. Turbo kits range from $5000- $8000 which is the price of a few dsm's 1g's at least. I bet I can tear your Turbo Teg to pieces, specially if theres snow on the ground, AWD baby!
