I have been having problems with my car, but the other day i decided to yank the plugs...whatta ya know..gapped at .38 and two were kinda loose. all fixed up now.

tonight my friend calls me up. i told him i was getting this talon for awhile. we raced before with my old talon that had a seized turbo. he has a mustang 80-90 style 351 windsor in it.

he challenges me tonight to race. i say i'll be there in ten. he's all cocky because he destroyed me last time. we line up at the lights. i put the rpm's at 4000. GREEN. perfect launch. i pull ahead a car. hit second and just keep steadily pulling away.

so we line up again because he said he didnt get traction. we start from a 20kph roll. he hits it first, but ass soon as i hit the gas i blew past him. all he had to say was "this cars alot faster than your other talons..i dont think i'll get any more comments out of him.

good job. Even when he has done a large displacement swap, you are still able to power away.

seems as if the math is wrong here tho. 122cid > 351cid wink

Very hard to believe, 351W in a fox body mustang is a 12-13sec package right away. Not doubting you didnt win but your buddy musta not known how to drive. Anyway good kill.

Nice Kill, Its always nice when a dsm'r shuts up one of those V8's with over twice the displacement & twice as many cylinders. tu
