Is this a turbo jetta..not up on my vws..never liked them much. I ran some vw in my talon on 14 b last year.Completely smoked him off the line and after. It was a turbo model. Not saying the turbo ones couldn't be fast but fwd against your awd. And now that you fixed your ignition. Sounds like free money to me. Oh I tried to see your other video and it didn't seem to work for me. Go put the smack down on the vw boy and buy a nice mod for your car.. I still laugh this one vw shop owner was telling my buddy something about german steel being better or some crap.Pretty funny.I love porches but hate vws and most older porches are junk!! Way way overpriced junk.Buddy thought his modded 911 would smoke any or all of my cars.He was dreaming. It was a older 911.Pathetic shifter, stupid clutch..terrible quartermile car. Looked great though, handled great and rocked on the highway.

Hey ,a kill is a kill is a kill.As I said in a few other posts sometimes you have no idea ,in fact most times what is done to that other car.It might have upgraded turbo, nitrous, engine swap whatever. How many people lie and say their car is bone stock and how many lie the other way and say they have this mod or that?
I say just post them .Some of funniest kill stories are the guy with the slow cars that think they are fast. Its always satisfying when you get to prove them wrong and take them down a notch or two.
And as we all know there is always someone faster and it may be in some ugly little four door. Heck we have a jetta or something like that with a northstar dropped into it.Its not slow!!
So I say race them all and then see what happens. On the track preferrably, or on the street if done carefully as possible the fastest car often doesn't win.
I am against stupid street racing.I keep the racing to like 60 or so km /hr off the lights and maybe 80 to 100km max on the deserted industrial streets or very late at night or early morning.I do race quartermiles reasonably frequently out of town on usually double lane highways.
Its called using common sense. The city police in most cities for good reason usually because of dumb people racing 100mph fast and furious style on busy city streets have no mercy. This is as it should be.But going to 60km hr with my awd off the lights pretty hard to prove racing. Heck tires don't even spin or smoke much!! They usually give a warning or low dollar speeding ticket maybe. Out of town no city police jurisdiction. And found from experience out here the rcmp are much more forgiving about the odd 1/4 mile race.Lots of the rcmp guys are younger and have fast cars and motorcycles.
So if you are going to race in town try not to be a typical dumb ricer for your sake and everyone else. And not saying you are Mike either.
But say it again if you guys don't want to hear about this stuff then delete this section.
And not everyone has a track nearby as option and the track is not the be all and end of racing.Street racing has been done in my town since the city started. But the muscle car guys always took it out of town and the city police had no control. The rcmp were too busy or spread too thin to do much about it too.And of course there was no one around to get hurt except the racers and surprisingly very very few were hurt in all the years.Highway race being much safer than city streets.
I had to laugh my same friends in sister city that has a track 5 minutes out tongelashed us for racing in our city and when I wen there found most of these hypocrites racing down mainstreet in their city and for some reason the cops there don't even roll out of the donut shop.
Try to even squeak your tires here and the cops are all over you in a heartbeat.

some guy with no posts always has to say something stupid. Believe me, the number of posts you have does NOT go up in proportion with the knowledge you possess. In fact, we quite often find that those who have post counts that climb rapidly, possess very little knowledge.
Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!
