Was getting some gasahol last night, on my way to a friends house when this loud ass SRT-4 pulls up next to me at the pumps. First thing I noticed was a bigger then stock FMIC, I asked him if it was stock, he said he had the stage 2 package done, but didnt mention the FMIC...
Long story short we went from like 85 kms, I was pretty high up in 3rd gear maybe 4700rpms give or take.. anyways this was the closest race ive ever been in, we pulled pretty much the exact same, with him having like maybe 2 or 3 feet of pull on me after 160, shut it down soon after that though anyways.
I was impressed seeing as I'm pretty stock and awd compared to his fwd.
Moral of the story, I need 100 more horsepower because my top end is seriously lacking.

ps.. I'm tired of getting all these good runs in with fast cars from a roll damnit, I never seem to catch lights with anyone.

The days of people racing Talons from a stop are long over my friend. I can't get any one to bite even from a slow roll:( I think the stutter box is to intimidating frown

Stutterboxes are intimidating.

I had a prospective race with a moded RSX Type S, reved at me, I let the Stutterbox rip, and he chickened out.

Wondered if he had though I was a NT.....

300hp Talon to a 50hp Citroen. Lovely ain't it?
Back to another Mits.
A Mirage Cyborg as a future 4G63T candidate.

I've had a few people chicken out after the stutter box got fired up as well.
