Well I was driving in the passenger seat of my girlfriends Neon, on my way to 7-11 when I see a yellow Dodge Viper drive by, so I yell out the window "Hey wanna race?", he looks at me and realizes who I am (he's a buddy of mine) so he pulls in behind her car, we pull over in the next parking lot and he says that I should run home, get my car and we should race.

I have to tell you now that I was getting knock, LOTS of knock (38 counts at Max), which means my timing was being pulled, I didn't realize this until after when we looked at the Datalog (not very bright on my part I know). But here is the race.

Nice kill. Next time you may want to stay on your side of the road though or take it to the track.

I raced a Viper once. One of the new new 2005's. I don't think he expexted me to come out of the hole as fast as I did. As soon as I hit third gear, he was waltzing right by me. frown

Well before we decide this viper guy can't drive or was running on 6 cylinders what the heck are your mods? smile To pull that much knock and have any chance against the viper you still must be running one big huge turbo. So spill the beans on your mods or put them in your sig.
Is that an older Rt10 like the 400 hp ones or something?

Hey thanks a lot Jakub, I really didn't feel like writing that all out or looking for it in an older post. The reason for the knock was because of poor tuning and my tank was almost empty so the C16 wasn't helping. I'm getting a keydriver chip real soon so I don't have to worry about C16.

The Viper WAS racing, trust me he didn't ask me to race, then let me win. The 95 Viper RT10 was a 13 second car, I'm running in the upper 12's. We went up to about 215km/hr and he still wasn't keeping up, that 60 trim is great on the top end. I have to admit he isn't the best driver, but neither am I. A good driver with my car could do a lot better than my best time of 12.7 @ 109.9mph.

Good run. My Viper races werent quite as successful but did get a good look at the exhaust ends and had fun anyway wink

Gotta wonder why every Talon war story comes with I'm not tuned asterisk though rotflmao I think we should just take that as a given to save all the typing.

Every day I beat my own previous record for number of consecutive days I've stayed alive.
