So we're coming back from port stanley last night just going with the flow of traffic up wellington. This road is unfortunately only 2 lanes wide, and since it's summer, the amount of traffic on this road is increased significantly during this season. The result is getting stuck behind relatively slow moving vehicles, or just motorists who don't feel like spoiling a perfectly beautiful long weekend with a ticket issued by the OPP hiding in the bushes. Anyway, I am cool with that. (I got nabbed once before on this road) So this riced out Civic (which I agree, is a redundant statement) pulls up behind me and is riding my ass. With no where to go, he keeps tailing me hoping to overtake me. The only place he can go is right in front of me, as there are 5 cars directly ahead of me, and a constant stream of traffic coming in the opposite direction. Since I don't like closed quarters, I leave a good amount of space between me and the car in front (London drivers have a habit of hitting their brakes for absolutely no reason at all)
What does this doughhead do? the first chance he gets he guns that little hamster wheel, overtakes me and then jams on his little brakes to avoid rear ending the guy ahead of me. His rump riding ass clown passenger then gives some sort of stupid wave out the window as if they just smoked me real good like.
(sigh)
The lesson to be learned here is:
1) Don't engage in dangerous/stupid maneuvers on a busy public road, unless you want to end up on the news as the cause of yet another honda related accident.
2) When your car is as cool as mine, you have nothing to prove, so why bother.

I had the same thing happen to me except there was no traffic at 2am (farm county), it was a riced out SI CRX and as he tried to over-take me after reving a few times beside me at the previous light. I hit 20psi of boost and made him and his gf look dumb. He didn't try anything dumb after that. Not even a 'ricer fly-by' (over-used statement as well). Oh god, same thing happened with a 2G N/T Eclipse with a CAI when I was only running 8psi. Oh, and the civic... Errrr, what a waste of my gas. I actually think I'm the sucker in these events.
