With my 97 not operational and my 92 for sale not racing either of those cars but did got to local track this weekend and watch some racing there.

Our local track is at 1700 feet above sea level and that will slow down most cars but don't think affects turbo cars as much as naturually aspirated ones.

Highlights..there was one talon running .It was 91 and guy said he had small 16g, 550s. fuel pump.He had fmic and not sure what exhaust on it but looked modified a bit from stock. Car was an auto.
His best times for the day were 13.8 at 98 mph with 2.1 60fts. Not great but decent I thought especially for an auto dsm.
A honda civic with big fmic ran 15.8s at like 85 not sure what was up with that. Some old turbo dodge shadow was also running mid high 15s and a turbo shelby was running very similar to the talon with 13.8 to 14 most runs and a bit more mph like 100mph but a bit worse 60ft. Talon was awd but shelby charger was fwd on race tires though.
Lots of new turbo diesel trucks with guess various mods,best one of those did 2.0 60fts at like 100mph and 14.75 best in quarter. Most were quite a bit slower.
Couple buddies were racing their f bodies..I am in f body club out here and one with silver 99 SS with heads/cam/headers bolt ons did 12.3 at 116mph with 2.08 on nittos best.
Another one with 95z with headers ,minor bolts ons and 125 shot nx kit did about same 12.3 best with 117mph and a bit worse 60fts of like 2.2 on nitto 315/17s.
Mach 1 last gen mustang was managing some 13.7s to 14s with some big 4.56 gears and minor mods.
Standard last gen gt was only doing high 14s, low 15s.
I was hoping to see a few more dsms run and hoping to catch some srt 4 and wrx or sti action .I did watch some srt 5 and wrx last time but both cars don't think even got under 15s likely due to drivers and street tires on the srt 4.
Anyway it was nice watching a dsm run.I don't have much more detail on what boost he was running etc but around here at that altitude a high 13 sec car is doing pretty decent.

My own best time was 15.0 at 97 with like a 2.6 60ft on my 80 ta before lot of current mods went on it year or so back and ran 14.3 at 96 with a 2.18 60ft best with my 96z28 vert last season
on nittos and have added lots of mods to it this year.
I have never ran my 99 trans am yet or my new 97 dsm or my old 92 at the track. Hopefully sooner or later.
