Ordered a vented spark plug cover from Ziggy.
Proved that you can get Quality, Price, and Service from a vendor (contrary to the saying you can only get two of the three).

- The spark plug cover was very attractive and fits perfectly. Came with nice bolts.
- Very competitive pricing
- Payment was made late Monday and the cover arrived early Friday as promised (shipped from central Canada to the west coast).
- Replied to all emails and did so on a timely basis (within a day).

I met with Ziggy and saw the emblems too. Excellent quality work. The pictures don't do them justice (they were taken in the rain, so the emblems were a bit wet).

I gave him a center cap from one of my 1G rims to work with.

Thanks for good reviews, guys!! I don't want any unhappy customers!!

Rob suggested a "reverse" eagle emblem...reversing what is raised, and what is black and what is silver. Would there be a market for that? If I did that, I would make an electrode and EDM the eagle into the emblems. If I did that, I could also EDM the eagle logo into other things...shift knobs, centre caps, etc.
Keep in mind, when I ask this, I am asking if you are interested in BUYING, not just seeing. So far, the spark plug covers are the only item really selling!!

Ziggy, like I said before. I will be coming to see you in August. I'm looking for a spark plug cover and maybe a threaded shift knob if you have the right size for me. I don't have a stock shifter.

I agree Ziggy is the man... He came from Hamilton while taking a family trip to come and meet me in Whitby and hooked me up with a RTM Racing spark plug cover and does this ever look sweet on a clean engine!!! Ziggy has alot of great ideas and always is open to ones from the club members.
Thanx for all you help Ziggy and let me know when the tie downs and bars are ready to go... I am in need!!!!! shocked ) smile

Noah, hope you don't think I was whining or anything....just that I have invested quite a lot into this venture and SO FAR made VERY LITTLE return. I think I have sold 5 spark plug covers, and although a few guys have said they are taking emblems, I don't have payment for any of them yet. I am confident this will change, but I need to be careful. For example, I made a cover for the Calgary group because they wanted to see one with the Mitsubishi logo....I suggested it might look foolish...small logo in the centre of a large cover, but they wanted to see it, so I made it. Then they asked if I could move the logo over, and engrave in "Powered by MITSUBISHI". I told them yes, but not going to manufacture more samples without orders, that's all. Still waiting to hear back from them.
Sometimes I feel like I am making the stuff so people can vote for their favourites rather than actually ORDER any of it.... frown
Anyways, sorry if I sounded like a whiner...sometimes I feel under pressure and wish sales were quicker, but I am not complaining. I look forward to meeting you in August, and if I have a shift knob you like and it doesn't fit your vehicle, I will MAKE one to fit your vehicle!!

ziggy sounds like you have some surplus because of assholes jerking you around, I would be interested in a valve cover for a little bit of a price reduction,

like that one you refered to from calgary?

(i cant justify spending money on something that doesnt make my car faster, unless i think im getting a deal! : P )

email is the best youknow16@yahoo.com

thanks

nate

Nathan, we can talk. But first, I am NOT saying the Calgary group are assholes, or anyone else for that matter. I was just venting a little. I think it is quite normal for people to say "I'd love one of those", and then when it is time to actually lay down the cash, something else takes priority. Look at all the group buys where 20 guys are in, then when it is time to put up the cash, 4 guys drop out. In fairness to the Calgary guys, I suggested to them that what they were asking for now was getting fairly pricey for a cover, because of all the work involved, so they should try to arrange a "group buy" sort of thing at their end and I would do them at a decent price. For all I know, he might have enough guys minus one signed up right now...
I think I was just trying to make the point, that I was no longer going to ask "would you like to see such and such", but from now on it would be "would you be willing to buy such and such".....
Anyways, the cover with the Mitsu logo in the middle, I will send you an email with a pic...
