René Brisebois OP Junior Member R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 19 Ottawa	i have a AWD clutch & disc. and a FWD tranny. missing flywheel.... now what i need to know is the AWD clutch, disc & flewheel, can they fit in a FWD turbo tranny. i checked with the local parts department and the part # are not the same. 13.8sec @ 106mph!!!

You can use the same Clutch but their is a difference in size between an AWD and FWD Flywheel. You'll need to get a new FW for your FWD. Maybe you could sell the AWD FW and use the $$$ to get a FWD. Becasue if the clutch fits both, awd and fwd, which it does, i know for a fact, then the step height is the same and the bolt circle and flywheel surface is the same?? so what dia is differnt, the dia fo the the starter gear??? I'm just curious, i want to know for once and all!! One more thing are they different in wieght?? becasue a awd might have a heavier one to make it easer to take off in first without stalling, compared to a fwd??? just a thought? 10.4@135 1G AWD 10.0 05' GSX-R1000
