I replaced my clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder recently. And ive bled it properly but the damn thing still wont get into gear.

When i replaced my transmission, i replaced everything except my T.O. bearing (yah i know, im a genius).

So is there a good possibility that a bad T.O. wouldnt let me get into gear?

I almost forgot what 2nd and reverse gear feels like.

Hello Joe.

I would suggest that you adjust the Pedal Height and Freeplay.

TOB should of been replaced (allow me to rub it in) but I do not think that it the cause of your problem.

It only takes a few minutes to adjust.

Hope this helps.

Ghislain.

G,

How do you adjust for freeplay? I'll see if changing the pedal height would make a difference.

A,

Me and my buddy did that, but it seems like the slave isnt pushing the fork all the way out. Im starting to think its the wrong slave for my car.

The Freeplay is adjusted by turning the Master Cylinder Shaft (Treaded Rod).

You can find the procedure in a maintenance manual.

My bet is that everything will be a1ok once you make these adjustements.

Ghislain.

you could put a nut in that hole on the fork.

this would help with the movement.

and do what others said.

Okay, so ive tried putting a small bolt on the fork. Still doesnt work. Ive adjust the rod to the point where if i turn it a few more, it'll fell off.

*sigh*

I maybe should've bought the galant master cylinder instead of the talon one bitch .
