Hey guys, I just been having this weird hissing noise when I am in 2-5 gear. 1st however, doesn't make any noise. The hiss goes away when:

1. Lets say its in second gear, I press more into second with the shifter.

2. 3rd gear hiss is cured when I press more into 3rd with the shifter.

and so on. Its the samething for all the gears except 1st because it doesn't make a noise. I am going to try some metal shifter bushings in the shifter assembly. I already have the bushings that go under the hood on the shifter cables. Any idea guys?

could your cable bracket be loose on the tranny/engine?

I tighten those tight actually. I made sure when I installed my starter.
