Well I was just going to swap out my fwd brakes for the awd version but I came across this kit & for a couple hundred more I'd get 4 piston calipers & a 2 piece 12.2" rotor. I was just wondering if anyone was running this setup & what you thought of it. I know this isn't a super high performance kit but I don't autocross & this is a daily driven street car so Im sure it will be more then enough for me as I thought my fwd brakes were fine if they didnt worp so dame easily bitch . Kit can be seen here:

Daren.
We use Wilwood all the time to stop 500 plus whp, great breaks. I can also set you up with an 11.5" rear upgrade as well.

Send me a PM if you want pricing, with or without installation.

Ya I've always heard great things about Wilwood, just don't see to many dsm guys running them. Maybe because alot of dsmer's have deep pockets & short arms rotflmao

Ya, you DO see a lot of Subie guys using them...and we know they have no problems with arm length/pocket depth ratios..

The only bad thing I heard about them is that the calipers can flex a little under real strain. Don't ask me to back that up I can't, just something I read somewhere that popped into my head.

Yes I have read that as well but its only certain calipers under really extreme conditions. Since I don't autocross I doubt I will push these anywheres close to their limit.

I ran a Wilwood 6 piston 13" setup on my TransAm and it worked amazing. Just watch what compound of pad you use as they have many. I'd recommend their Q compound for street use. Those rotors won't warp. Only thing my kit didn't come with was the safety wire for the bolts on the 2 peice rotors but that can be had from most motorcycle shops. You'll be happy with these brakes.
