yup, i am an idiot, and a lazy ass. As you may know, i swapped the tranny on my 1g DSM. The tranny was perfect, but after the job, one of the axle wasnt in flush, i just figured that if i turn around corners and stuff it'd just pop in.

Didn't happen, it broke down on the middle of the road after what it felt like a transmission jumping and my tranny just makes a high pitched grinding noise without going anywhere now

the car was raised, i spun one wheel, the other didn't spin... A member here suggested that it's the locking pin where the axle goes in is broken... is there any fix?

The axle could be broken at the end as well.

1990 TSi AWD - Parked since I bought it (Jan24/03)
Had it out one day, and busted the trans.
