Now, I'm not actually sure if anyone would want to do these (Ziggy, hint, hint).
But I would love to see a full stainless steel key for our cars, that we could get cut to be our car key.
I've seen some kickass ones for STI's and such, but none for dsms.
Basically my idea would be the head of the key in stainless, with the dsm logo nicely cut into it.
Any thoughts, or interest?

The problem is I don't even know where to get a nice blank for our cars...
As for the stainless part, it's not for the rust proof thing obviously...it's just that stainless is strong.
Actually some of the subbie guys are running these titanium keys now, they sell for around $45 each.

Im kinda interested now. Find some blanks Jon, and post a pic.
At the very least, I might be able to help and do a FEW for us, but thats it really. Anything more than a hand full and I risk getting questioned at work on my intentions of personal CNC machine use, which is cool with them as long as its not for personal profit. Any more than a few would be considered production if you know what I mean.
I already have CAD of the Talon logo (same as Ziggy's front grill ornaments) That would be my # 1 chioce. Even though I can scale the CAD down pretty small, the head on the key would have to be a decent size for it to be a nice detailed machined peice.

That STI titanium is exactly what my buddy has. The cutter actually said it might be too strong for his machine, but was able to do it.
The mitsu key there looks pretty good, but if the head was just steel with the mitsu or dsm logo etched into it, it would be perfect.
I really have no idea where else to get blanks.
