Am I wrong in saying what kind of race seat weighs 40 pounds?
They look nice though.

leather ones are heavier because they are leather. The rest weight around 34 pounds. Just read the specs, they have life time warranty on the frame. They are no low quality ebay seats.

Does anyone have any experience with these seats? Any good? As good as some of the high end ones? What about these universal sliders? They make life difficult?

The seats come in pairs only. I don't sell seats individually. I don't get them from Street Imports. I get them from Yonaka directly.

Still, if someone is interested in splitting a pair with me, I'll pay for it and then you can pay me half. But I guess we'd have to agree on the same seat.

What about a deal on some Sparco's? Seats that people know are good and will really lighten our heavy ass cars up.

I have a set of the leather Ronins that I havent had a chance to put in yet. They are very well made, but they dont have any ass time yet so I cant comment on durability. The 'universal sliders' are bacically part of the seat, no problems with those. The only pain in the ass is you have to get DSM-specific brackets to bolt them down to the floor. I got a set of Weapon R brackets and Im going to have to modify them a bit to line up with the mounting holes on the seats.

I like the fact that they are real leather, all black, and pretty much direct copies of the Recaro SRD seats without any of the gay logos a lot of the knock off seats have. Also, a little birdie told me that if you catch Street Imports at a show, they sell the pair at a SIGNIFICANT distount as a 'show special'.
