My first time at the track. I got 10 runs in. I lost all 10 of them annoy - and 5 of them were to Tim!

My official excuse is that I am running way too rich - and wow was it ever hot and humid. At least I can say I was consistant and that I have learned a whole bunch. Now I know where to start tuning things up to shave few seconds off my unmentionable PB.

Jeremy,
I don't know if I should take offence to that comment or what ? Rob's car wasn't running all that well and I did finally get a TSi finally...
Mind you if my old N/T made the trip down like it was suopposed to and he got beat by that, it would have been funny, mind you the times that it had run at the track it would have been close though.

No Tim..i'm not saying your car is slow (for a stock car, it's pretty good)...but Rob's car is capable of a low 13s run. Seen it run that time last year.

With a little tuning it should run 13s next time.
The car just didn't pull at the track like it does on the street. I couldn't hit full boost in 3rd. It wouldn't even pull hard to redline so I was always shifting earlier than normal.

i agree with rob, the conditions were horrible. it was DAMN HOT!! my car was well off the mark with a sad 14.36 from my normal low 13s. tuning sucks on those days but i did end up winning every race-EXCEPT WHEN I BLEW OFF MY IC HOSE FIRST RUN-the damn thing kept stalling with the flapper out and the afc working too hard-it was so hot.HAD A GREAT TIME EVERYONE.
BY THE WAY THE 1G'S WERE HOLDING DOWN THE TOP SPOTS...NO?
