It was like ice at 10:15 when i got there. It didn't get a lot better though. I managed a 13.1@104 with a 1.85 60' running at 15psi. Not bad for my first time out cool

I sucked, could only manage a 14.55 @ 93.6.

Lots of DSMs though, at least 20 were there. tu

When we got there the place was EMPTY...but like Ian said it sure filled up fast.

I made 7 passes, with a personal best of 14.02 @98mph. That was at 13psi on the 16G. I was happy with that until Jeremy had a nearly identical time on his pretty much STOCK car. Bastard! mad laugh

Well I ended up going to the WRONG track to hook up with you guy's, woke up late all groggy from loosing sleep. Quickly packed the car and took off for...St Thomas. Waited at Woodstock for the caravan until about 9:15 and when nobody showed up I took off for the track on my own. Waited around until 10:30 for the track to open. Probably about 15 cars at opening and about 45 by the mid afternoon.
Sorry Phil gonna have to make your life even worsre car ran a 13.86, funny thing is that my MPH is about 3-4mph slower than when the car ran a 14.3 last event out. The good thing is I was able to finally learn how to launch and was able to keep consistant 1.8-1.9 60ft

Today was a hoot. managed to get 4 runs in but was caught out twice with a bad lights...so I only got 2 good runs.

Best of the day (Personal best)
14.093@96.34MPH, with 1.955 60'

Car has,
stock exhaust with catcon and with aftermarket 2.25 straight through muffler, MBC @ 15psi, FP rewire, K&N, seats and spare removed.

No doubt the biggest power adder was the cool temps. Best run was also against a Turbo'd Integra GSR with made a 14.4 pass as well running 7psi. This is the first sub-2.0 sec 60' so far, either i have to accept the fact I dont know how to drive AWD DSMs or there is some problems with the drivetrain.

I figured i can just shave another 4-5 tenths off by upgrading to a 2.5" (or 3")turbo back and running cat-less. that will put mid into the mid-13s.

300hp Talon to a 50hp Citroen. Lovely ain't it?
Back to another Mits.

I ran a 14.7 at 96mph today, pretty good! personal best although I've only been out twice. The car is a '92 tsi fwd.. k&n, balance shafts removed and mbc at around 15psi. Everything else is stock.

Logs showed knocking through the whole 3rd gear... the boost goes too high in 3rd.. hmmmmmmmmmm

If I have time I'll rewire my fuel pump, see if that helps....

Good runs you DSMers!! and congrats Tim on that 13.86!! That's definitely an un-stockly figure smile

I won't even get into what happened to my wastegate, but my buddy Bruce ran 12.9 @ 103 on this FWD. Not bad for a FWD and stock turbo.

I am going back this year, so perhaps we should arrange another DSM T&T day.

Well, when we were there on the 27th, they announced that there will be T&T on Saturdays & Sundays right up thru at least mid-December........weather permitting of course. They wanna make up for opening so late this year.

Don't count on a lot of people showing up though..........it's too cold already.
