I will be there, even though I don't officialy own a DSM yet (booo!!). Look for me and my friend in a rotted out '87 "babyblue" hatchback civic, running on 3 cylinders, and covered in bondo, white rims and lowered hehe.. I wanna meet some DSM guys, anyways, see you there.

Chuck, I was out there in my 97 Red Talon, only made one pass but I was happy with it. I'm certain I was standing beside your car in the line-up, though there was more than one colt there. I actually nabbed a picture of it in the line-up I think.

What was your best time of the night?

Paul

I made it up there with the blue civic too, but unfortunately I wasn't there at the time when you talked to the driver, he told me afterwords that someone from the DSM Forum came up to him. Perhaps next time, a fun night anyway, hope to meet you guys soon, l8r.

Only five runs? That's just brutal. I'm glad I can go to St. Thomas instead of that place. I can get as many runs as I wish in.

Actually it was fine considering we got there late...around 8:30pm, and the track closed at 11pm. I haven't been to Cayuga in a few years and the difference is like night and day. Much better facility now, and the race marshalls aren't dicks anymore!

As for times, I ended up running a smidgen over stock boost and just screwing around doing a few passes for fun. I ran consistent 14.7's @ 97mph at 12psi all night long.

They even lined me up with my buddy in his 2001 Prelude giving him a car head start!

This is what I have so far:

Free mods
K&N w/lower honeycomb removed
2.5" turboback exhaust
Supra TT FP
2.5" U.I.P.
stock motor/turbo with 270+k

Hopefully I will do some datalogging by next week so I can crank the boost, and then I'll see how much is really in it.

lol, i totally forgot about this thread.

It was a shitty busy night at Cayuga.
I only got in four runs within 2.5hrs!!!
I forgot my tire press gauge!! It just was not a good night.
All four runs were at 17psi boost, wheelspin was the killer.
2.6 best of for the 60's
98mph best of for trap speed
and pathetic 15.0, @95mph, 2.8 60!

I need some good time at the track, and really get a feel for the car at the track, damn fwd w/ no lsd. My maxima gets me consistent 2.2 60's, and it weighs over 3200lbs! whereas the colt weighs 2450lbs in full trim!

I ran on two types of tires, both radials, falken 195 60 14, and yokohama a520s, 205 60 15, no matter which tire was in the front, it was no good.

I need one of three things,
1. lsd
2. slicks
3. dual stage boost controller.

I know i can hit a 100mph with the colt, its my main goal, i dont really look at the times, but a 14.1 would be nice on radials!
I might be going to the track again within a coule weeks.
I will post again.
