Could anyone comment on the police situation out there?

I'm sure it's more of an issue in the summer, but I'm still a little wary of driving my car in and out of Cayuga.

That's why you go in the back way wink

Turn left onto the small road that runs along the river right after you cross the bridge. Turn right after a few minutes of driving, and it'll bring you to Kohler road on the other side of the track.

my parents live out there and i did for years and i drive a 2g talon, just be smart.
They arent too bad, i've been pulled over once in about 5 years of driving out there everyday and i average well over 100K.
Just before the track is a small intersection and it slows down to 60k, make sure you slow down. they hide behind that church on the weekends on the left hand side and snatch up speeders. you have more to worry about on #6(upperjames) then anything or on #3 coming out of cayuga.
If you turn right and go over the bridge in York, follow the bridge but go straight dont merge to the right, then you turn left at River Rd. Its a long winding road that goes all the way to #3 but your on the other side of the river and this way you bypass the actual town or intersection of cayuga and you dont pass the OPP station. turn right at #3 and follow to Kohler Rd then turn left at Kohler and ur there in no time.
For the longest time there wasnt even a posted speed limit on River Rd but they just put up an 80K sign about a month or 2 ago.
Take that route and you will get there quicker and there are no cops ever on that road.
Besides the least amount of cars goin by the OPP station will make it less obvious and make them less curious.
Take care guys, have fun.!

Looks like it's going to be a good turn out. For the people who are taking QEW/403 and want to join the caravan. 3rd Line and 403 at the Wendy's at 9am. 3rd Line on and off ramps are closed so just take Bronte and service 9 will take you to 3rd Line.
My cell is 905 320 9516 if you get lost.

Glad to see that 14.01 will no longer haunt Rob. Im still taunted with no time from all of my cars. That will change next season. I'm thinking of taking the awd winter beater out once and yes leaving the snow tires ON! Before I bust out my fwd.

Nice pics too.

smile
