At what point to I want to consider upgrading my fuel pressure regulator? I've heard that I can thow in a 1G AT one to get a little more... can anyone confirm this? ------------------ Quadcylla92 Laser RS-T FWD

I was also thinking of that. I noticed that I am running a little lean with the cold weather. I have a Mike J hacked MAF, and even with the pontentiometer on full rich the car runs a bit on the lean side. There is a very good tech page on it at http://www.thedsmshop.com/fpr.htm I heard you can swap in a regulator from an AT, or NT Talon to get more fuel pressure but I'm not sure. Anybody can confirm this? You can get the B&M Command Flo regulator and a fuel pressure gauge from RRE for $100US. 93 AWD

Don't use a NT fuel pressure regulator on a turbo engine unless you want to blow up your engine. The turbo one is a rising rate, boost dependent type. It reads boost and raises the fuel pressure as boost increases. The NT one does not and you will lean out. The stock one is fine unless your running higher than 113 mph trap speeds in which an aftermarket ajustable, boost dependent type is recommened.

Those are idle fuel pressures. The NT and AT models are propably higher because they have small injectors. The turbo regulator sees boost and restricts flow back to the tank increasing fuel pressure over 50.
