My stock fuel pump is making some odd sounds so I figure its time for a new one new fuel pump, I have a small 16G, 550's, AFPR (fullthrottle), Hi-Flow filter and some big fuel line. I don't want to run 10's but 12's at some point in the next few years, will a 190 work fine or should I go up to the big boys? Also what pressure should I set it to, I have been setting with the vacuum line on so far but Im not sure if thats right

Thanks Matt

Thanks Matt

Since you have an AFPR, go big or go home! demon

Set the pressure to stock ([1G]36-38psi/[2G]42-45psi with the vacuum line disconnected), and work from there.

What are you using to control the 550s?

Keydriver chip for the 550's, I will be going to a MAF-T setup but not till next year as my Solo season is coming to an end.

The 190 would be fine with 550`s i think their both the same price soo might as well get the 255lph, Make sure that if u get the (high pressure)model You`ll probly need a fuel press reg.

Installed the 255HP not re-wired and now it bogs pretty bad, the pressure is about 50ish vac line on. So do I need to just play around with it till I get less knock and less bog, or do I do just crack the boost till the rich condition goes away. Man turning is way easier than tuning.

Thanks Matt

Turn down the base fuel pressure to 37. Do you have a logger?

Yes I do, I get so much knock if I stab the gas at low rpm it's driving me crazy. I will be on the road course tommorrow night and will try base 37 and go from there.

Thanks Matt
